Nylon curing tape is a special wrapping material for rubber hose vulcanization. Its core functions include shaping, pressure application, surface protection and adhesion enhancement.
1. Shaping & Anti-deformation: Nylon curing tape tightly wraps the hose body evenly during high-temperature vulcanization at 140-180℃, restraining expansion, bulging and collapse to maintain roundness and dimensional stability.
2. Compaction via Pressure Application: Nylon curing tape's thermal shrinkage generates uniform clamping force, which tightly bonds rubber layers with reinforcements (steel wire/textile), removes air bubbles and prevents delamination.
3. Surface Protection: Nylon curing tape isolates the hose from steam and molds to avoid mold sticking, scratches and orange peel defects, delivering a glossy black surface, regular fabric texture and shallow indentations.
4. Adhesion Improvement: Nylon curing tape strengthens the bond between rubber and reinforcing materials, boosting the overall pressure resistance and service life of hoses.
